Faces and Places

Senator Dorgan's vision for the Red River Valley Research Corridor was to help create home-grown, good-paying research and development jobs in North Dakota. The initiative has proven incredibly successful, injecting hundreds of millions of dollars into the North Dakota economy and building the state's national reputation as a center for high-tech research.

The Research Corridor has thrived through its strong partnerships of people, universities, businesses and communities throughout the state that are working together to help advance North Dakota's economy.

In the links below, you will meet some of the different partners or "faces and places" of the Research Corridor that are contributing to its success. These are stories of North Dakotans who moved back home or stayed in the state because of high-tech jobs created through Dorgan's initiative, of North Dakota companies that are participating in our nation's  top research initiatives, and of communities that have partnered with the Research Corridor.

These stories illustrate the exciting research and development activities occurring across North Dakota and the faces and places of those who have joined Dorgan to create new jobs and economic development.

Please check back often to read the latest on what's going on in the Research Corridor.
